Our Mission

Our Mission at Manchester Soccer Club is to enhance the individual technique, skill and knowledge at the game of soccer, through structured, fun practices as well as competitive soccer games.

We promote hard work, commitment and dedication to becoming better at the game of soccer.  We strive for winning and losing with dignity and sportsmanship, as well as fair play in all that we do.

We educate our players about this complex sport and we teach as well as coach.  From the basic fundamental skills to the complex, higher order skills, we apply the appropriate coaching/teaching strategies necessary for all levels of play.

We are always competitive and set high standards.  We play to win, but we stress that winning is not everything.

We believe that the development of the individual and the development of team concepts are equally important.  We recognize the similarities between sport and real life.

We attempt to develop great soccer players, great athletes and great people!  We believe in developing children’s self esteem and confidence and we strongly promote respect for teammates and opponents.

We nurture a disciplined environment where learning can take place, and we fully understand the need for “Fun” to be integrated into this disciplined arena.  We want every soccer player at Manchester to be eager to come to practice, and to enjoy their soccer time with our club.
